Photo shoot for Veganuary campaign for Boojummex
Getting round to updating my blog posts is a challenge - there just aren’t enough hours in the day!!! However, I would like to share a very enjoyable photoshoot I did for Boojummex in Belfast for their Veganuary campain.
I had worked with the Boojummex (commonly known as Boojum) team before for their Deliveroo photo shoot, and was looking forward to meeting up with them again. As usual, their brief was clear and I knew I was in for a day of fun photography.
For this photoshoot, Boojum were advertising their plant-based beef alternative, together with Guajillo Chilli Dipping Sauce. The brief was - to be authentic, messy, splash sauce here and there and make the photos true to life. Believe me, it is not easy to catch those drips and splashes at the right time, especially with a runny sauce!!! We took quite a number of shots to make sure the sauce was falling near enough to the place that was required. Needless to say that photoshop also helped adding more sauce in post processing, but we just pretend all the sauce splashes and drips happedned at the shoot!!! Having a graphic design background myself, I was very happy to take instructions from Gemma the graphic designer for the art direction, composition and leaving negative spaces for text and grahpics.
Before I forget, it was also great working with the amazing hand model AJ Lynn - a very professional performer!
