As a studio specialising in product photography, it is especially rewarding to see how our clients continue to evolve their ideas into beautifully crafted finished pieces. Bough & Burrs’ new designs are a perfect example of thoughtful, well-executed furniture design.

We were immediately drawn to the imaginative approach of Duncan Legate, who creates striking, contemporary furniture from exceptional, characterful wood. His ability to combine strong product design with craftsmanship results in furniture that feels both functional and sculptural.

This photoshoot was created specifically for online shop listings, so the styling and composition were intentionally kept clean and simple. Our focus was on showcasing the strength of the product design, the natural beauty of the wood grain, and the clever, considered details incorporated into each piece. We photographed each piece of furniture in its entirety, along with detailed close-up shots to highlight the craftsmanship.
