I'd like to recommend Sohaila McKee of Vizz Creative, she's proved a very adaptable product photographer, no challenge too big - she's photographed large installation pieces with as much precision and sensitivity to the work as smaller intimate pieces. She manages light & reflective surfaces superbly. She has also done product photography for Top Floor Art Studio Group members (an eclectic mix of work), and was very approachable for makers new to professional product photography.

Brilliant every step of the way
We had been running an osteopathic clinic in Newcastle for a few years but our image had started to look tired and with expansion on the horizon it was time for a rebrand. We reached out to Sohaila in late 2018 for help and from the initial meeting to discuss new names all the way through to receiving fantastic photos for our website and social media pages, Sohaila has been brilliant every step of the way. For a small business like ourselves the idea of completely starting again with a new name, image and online presence is a daunting one, however Sohaila has made the whole process hassle free and really enjoyable. She helped us identify the core principles of the business and from that created a logo that encapsulated everything that was important to us. Up next was the photo shoot, neither of us are comfortable in front of the camera however Sohaila made us feel at ease. We did 2 shoots, one inside the studio where we recreated our clinic room and second outside down at the local harbour. Despite the freezing cold and quickly moving sun Sohaila managed to capture the perfect images for our business and we all had a great time doing it. Getting Sohaila on board has been the best thing we have done for our business. Since the rebrand all the feedback was been amazingly positive and business is up. We can’t recommend Vizz creative enough to any business looking to clean up their image with graphic design or commercial photos.

We commissioned Vizz Photography to photograph two craft exhibitions – the ‘Secret Garden’ in Derry Craft Village and the ‘Pots Around Town’ ceramic trail around the Walled City. Vizz also documented the making process for some of the eight large-scale pots that made up the ceramic trail. In addition, Vizz provided a photo shoot to capture high-quality images of local makers’ work for the ‘Derry & Strabane Craft Directory and Trail 2015’ publication. This included a photoshootfor 33 makers as well as a number of craft retail shop-fronts. The quality of images produced by Vizz Photography was very high and they have an exceptional talent and flair for photographing ceramics.
