PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY for the creative sector

This summer, I’ve done a number of product photoshoots for Mount Ida Pottery as well as the redesign of their website, which is planned for launch in a couple of weeks time.

Mount Ida pottery is a father and daughter team. The photographs in this video are the work of the extremely talented Ellie Woods.

When Ellie dropped off these lovely ladies for a photo shoot, I thought of the Belfast ladies of yore, in the late evening, gathering in front of their houses, chatting together, talking about their daily lives and walking their dogs.

Since the figures are abstract, I designed an abstract urban scene with buildings in the background and a patch of grass in the foreground. I photographed the ladies in different scenes, creating visual stories.

If you think this sounds like a fun project, you are right - it was.
